Case study “Technology to Japan” (M&A)

Next Growth supported a leading company in the heat exchange pump sector by structuring a corporate transaction—together with one of the largest Italian banks and a highly prestigious law firm—that led to a minority investment by one of the top Japanese multinational corporations. In particular, Next Growth directly assisted the entrepreneur in negotiating the company’s valuation and the resulting new governance structure.

The project concluded with significant success. The “winning factors” were the identification of the company’s true uniqueness and the clear communication of these strengths to the potential buyer, along with the negotiation skills—honed through decades of high-level international experience—of the Next Growth partner leading the project.

Case study “USA Expansion” (Strategic consulting)

An Italian metalworking company manufactures a component that becomes part of a broader product sold by other companies. However, the component’s outstanding quality makes the final product unique and competitively superior in the market. The company produces this component almost exclusively as a custom-made item for top-tier applications in the luxury construction market (large villas, prestigious hotels, etc.) and the high-end yachting sector.

This company sought assistance from Next Growth to expand its business into the United States. The project, which began in early 2025 and is still ongoing, has included a market analysis to assess potential opportunities and is now entering the phase of seeking overseas partnerships to jointly develop a highly promising offer. Next Growth and the client company will work together during this exploration phase, which involves presenting the business concept to potential partners, negotiating terms and conditions of collaboration, and drafting an operational implementation plan.

Case study “Agri-food innovation” (Support for start-ups)

A partner at Next Growth made a personal investment in a company—now grown and fully operational—that operates in the agri-food sector with a strongly innovative approach. The company implements vertical farming techniques to produce a high-quality product that is a market leader in both Italy and Europe.

Alongside the investment, the partner provided support to the management team as a member of the Advisory Board. Next Growth also offered additional operational support on matters related to the strategic setup of the new information system.
